About Us

aboutpg1We all know what it’s like living in a world of meat eaters. A world where people contribute one-quarter to one-third of their incomes to the acquisition of food, without a thought as to the impact of their food choices on the environment, on their health, and on the poor beings who endure unfathomable torment on their way to our plates. It’s a world where few people have the courage to stand their ground against popular opinion, and where they can actually be chastised and alienated for doing the right thing if it goes against tradition, against the norm.

about2In our quest to be a voice for those who have none, our friends the animals, many of us have endured all types of adversity ranging from seemingly innocuous digs veiled as humor, to outright ridicule and attack. Puzzled looks at best, and at worst humiliation and exclusion. But where are they?” We talk to friends who mention knowing some, and many of our restaurants have vegan options, which would never happen if there weren’t a demand for it. It occurred to us that there just wasn’t a really good way for us to connect with our vegan brothers and sisters.

Until now, that is...
